Right to work and visas

In order to comply with immigration legislation, Atkins is legally required to verify your right to work in the UK. As a result, if you are invited to interview we ask that you bring along original documentation that shows what rights you have to employment so we can check your documents at this time. We will explain exactly what is required when we send you an invitation.

Atkins is an A Rated sponsor within the Home Office Sponsorship Management system under Tier 2. This means that we can sponsor candidates from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who do not currently have the right to work in the UK. But this is only for certain roles and eligibility criteria must be met.

While we are also able to consider applications from overseas workers from outside the EEA (who require a Tier 2 (General) visa) we can only sponsor you if we can provide evidence that there are no other suitable candidates for this vacancy within the EEA or if the role is listed as a Shortage Occupation under the UK Border Agency scheme.
