Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Tampa, FL Accounts Payable Group as a temporary Accounts Payable/ Expense Report Specialist.

MAJOR FUNCTION/ROLE

Ensures accurate auditing and processing of expense reports and maintains accurate records and controls. This is a temporary position that supports the accounting and finance functions of the company in accounts payable, invoicing, general ledger, or project-related analysis.

JOB DUTIES

Audit expense reports, verifying receipts and ensuring compliance with policies.

Ensures that accounts payable and expense report files are maintained in accordance with department policies.

May perform such other assignments as the Supervisor may deem necessary from time to time.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma (or equivalent) plus eight years work experience in an accounts payable environment, OR associate's degree in a related administrative field plus six years related experience is required.

SPECIAL SKILLS

Experience with foreign currency is preferred.

Experience using Oracle is preferred but not required.

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.

PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS

None.

Ability to process paper/electronic documents and utilize computer equipment; ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; ability to visit project sites if necessary. Job also requires ability to plan, prioritize and review project plans and documents, evaluate alternatives, and devise appropriate solutions.
