Safety & Asset Management forms part of the Advanced Engineering & Technology Practice, which offers a range of independent and unbiased advice in engineering, technical and strategic advisory services to a wide breadth of markets and clients.

What you’ll be doing
We're strengthening and growing our Safety & Asset Management consulting team within ADS&T to meet increasing market demand across multiple sectors for advisory Strategic Safety & Asset Management, Digital Technologies and Asset Performance Management services. The Safety & Asset Management Practice Group provides an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of innovative and market leading projects within Aerospace, Defence and emerging new markets. Our practice group is transforming through adopting and focusing upon capability development, innovation and digital technologies such as data analytics, enhancing our digital tools and techniques to meet current and future market demands.

These services include business operations, strategy, people management, change management, accounting/finance, risk management and information systems all coordinated around:

Asset Management - A systematic process that exploits digital technology and data to make concept, deploying, operating, maintaining, upgrading and disposal of “ASSETS” safer, more cost-effective and more sustainable.

Safety - Optimised Systems approach to Safety & Environmental Engineering encompassing infrastructure including People, Hardware, Programmable Elements and Data. Making our world safer, secure and more sustainable.

Our practice group is formed around a variety of certification, analyses, computation methodologies and assessment techniques such as Training Needs Analysis, Human Factors Engineering, Failure Modes Effects Analyse, Safety Case and Safety Auditing, HAZOP studies, Supply Chain Management, Modelling techniques, RCM and Reliability Analysis, Maintenance Task Analysis; Integrated Logistic Support and Asset Performance Management activities which influences System Engineering.

These are supplemented further using electronic computational models developed for Markov Analyses, digital tools, Goal Structured Notation, Fault Tree Analysis, JACK (Space program) HF analysis and simulation, AvSim and RAM4 to name but a few.

You’ll be an undergraduate with a predicted 2:1 or above (Masters) in any of the following disciplines:
• Control Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• Marine/Naval Engineering
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Asset Management
• Environmental Engineering
• Ergonomic & Psychology
• Aerospace Engineering
• Mechanical and General Engineers
