Duties and Responsibilities

  • Mentor, supervise and provide support to junior staff members
  • Conduct pro-active coordination with internal and external design disciplines to achieve a high quality, consistent set of presentation or design documents
  • Contribute to the preparation of design reports including Technical Report Writing
  • Proactively interface with Statutory Authorities and develop knowledge of codes, regulations and submission requirements
  • Assist in the review of tender and construction documentation
  • Set an example for team effort through a spirit of cooperation
  • Show commitment to achieve design excellence

Qualities and Skills Required

  • Ability to fulfil all the above duties and responsibilities
  • Evidence of solid Architectural Design skills and understanding of the design process and interfaces between design disciplines
  • Effective communication
  • Knowledge of Statutory Authorities requirements, codes, regulations and submission requirements
  • Project design experience
  • Ability to use a variety of media in the development and documentation of a design intent
  • Good organizational skills
  • Self-motivation and proactive attitude
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
  • Flexibility of attitude towards company objectives
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT, word processing and presentation programs
  • Basic knowledge of Fire & Life Safety Principles
  • Basic knowledge of Sustainable Design principles
  • Ability and will to update knowledge
  • Ability and will to mentor and provide support to junior staff members
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Knowledge of other languages is an added value


Qualification Required

  • Completion of five or six-year architectural degree program
  • B.Arch or B.Sc in Architecture
  • Minimum 5 years post graduate experience
