Assistant Finance Manager

• Business support on project financial reviews, highlight the project risks and control issuance of invoices and credit notes.
• Manage and review the subsidiaries accounts in Malaysia & Singapore and HK.
• Responsible for the statutory audit and tax compliance for various entities in HK, Malaysia and Singapore.   Manage the auditor to finalize statutory accounts and tax returns for the various entities
• Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecast
• Prepare quarterly tax reporting packages 
• Review public site payroll
• Monitor and review receipts, petty cash and fixed assets. 
• Ensure timely monthly bank balance reporting.  Prepare monthly cashflow for subsidiary in Malaysia and a subsidiary in HK.
• Manage the relationship with banks in HK, Malaysia, Vietnam and Macau to ensure all banking and payment facilities are available.  Liaise with Corporate Treasury for Treasury matter e.g. issuing bonds, bank mandate update etc.
• Review and maintain the Authority Matrix
• Lead and manage 2 assistant accountants
• Support Finance Director on ad hoc assignments

• Degree holder with a recognised accountancy qualification.
• At least 5 years relevant work experience.
• Expected to be a ‘hands on’ leader and take ownership of position responsibilities;
• Responsible for finance related matters including audit, tax, forecast and budget;
• Strong analytical skills, self-motivated and a team player;
• Able to handle multiple projects within tight schedules and meet deadlines;
• Proficient in MS Excel and Access, knowledge of Sun Accounting System, Hyperion and Vision would be advantageous;
• Immediate available preferred
