Assistant Process Safety Consultant

JOB DUTIES

• You will work in our HSE team and take part in delivering studies such as HAZOP, Bow Ties, Fire and Explosion Modelling, Facility Siting, and Quantitative Risk Assessments.
• Assist in building FLACS CFD models to perform dispersion and explosion simulations. Perform model clean-up in CAD for import into CFD software.
• Act as a scribe for PHA workshops. Responsible for noding process drawings, attending workshops, and developing reports.
• Assignments will predominantly be based in our Houston office, working locally for major operators and engineering contractors. Occasional travel may be required.
• Support senior team members in project work and ongoing client consultancy activities.
• You will be a vital member of our team, and you will receive the support and encouragement to develop your technical skills to gain the experience necessary to take the next steps in your career.

• Ability to program in Python, .Net, VBA, or C++ preferred.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum, Safety/Risk Engineering) or graduating within one semester of this posting date.
• For this Graduate entry-level position, no professional experience is required.
