Associate Construction Manager

Our New York team is growing! We are seeking an Associate Construction Manager to support our Client at various construction sites in New York. Responsibilities will include daily communication with clients and contractors and coordinating resources for the completion of assigned tasks and projects, providing project reports as necessary. This is a full time Faithful+Gould position with robust benefits.

Responsibilities

-Under direction, organizes field observation and monitoring of contractors substantial compliance with contracts so that project quality, cost control and established schedule are met by contractor.
- Assists with project delivery strategies.
-Performs non-manual field work that involves applying acquired knowledge and experience in the observation and monitoring of modernly complex construction contracts.

-Coordination of related activities.
- Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Construction, civil engineering or a related field, and 4 years relevant experience.

-Construction Management experience with large clients is preferred.

-Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision making abilities.

-Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.

-Strong mathematical, communication, analytical, computer and organizational skills.
