The Atkins ecology practice has over 70 ecologists based in the UK and is committed to providing expert and pragmatic ecological advice throughout the UK and internationally. We have a reputation for delivering technically demanding projects with innovative approaches. Atkins works for a range of government departments, multi-national industrial clients, funding agencies and lenders, property developers, and regulatory authorities. Although the majority of work is expected to be regional, there will be technical collaboration and networking with the ecologists working within the company.

We are looking for an exceptional, experienced ecologist, to take a role of Associate Director in our Practice. As part of our leadership team and reporting to the Practice Director, you will be at the forefront of shaping the technical delivery of our projects, leading project work on high profile, technically complex projects as well as responsible for generating opportunities, and building client relationships.

However, first and foremost, we want to recruit the right person into the team – you need be enthusiastic about your job, the people you work with, our company and the clients that we deliver for. We will always work with individuals to make sure that their role plays to their natural strengths.
