AtkinsRealis are currently looking for experienced Associate to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within KSA. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in KSA.

Pre-contract

  • Can produce fee proposals for technical submissions on RFP’s

  • Can write technical narrative response for RFP’s

  • Has experience and a good understanding of all major building typologies and horizontal / MEP assets for the purpose of estimating

  • Understands how to manage a cost plan from beginning to completion

  • Can plan and manage resources for cost planning and BOQ production activities

  • Can write professional reports

  • Understands and can articulate procurement routes to employees

  • Can provide advice to employees and design team on value engineering

  • Can advise on benchmarking and market trends if questioned by employees

  • Can manage meetings and present cost plans and reports is required to do so

  • Can write monthly cost reports to be approved by Managers

  • Can write non-contractual emails and letters for approval by Managers

  • Can manage a medium sized teams (more than 5) to enable deliverables

Post-contract

  • Interacts with wider support i.e. GTC as required to enable deliverables Post-contract

  • Can undertake interim payments to be approved by Managers

  • Can write monthly cost reports to be approved by Managers

  • Can evaluate claims in relation to quantum in co-ordination with the Engineer

  • Can evaluate and negotiate variations with general contractors

  • Can manage provisional sum expenditure

  • Can make assessments for materials of site

  • Can make payment recommendations for professional services for approval by Managers

  • Can write non-contractual emails and letters for approval by Managers

  • Can produce project final account to be approved by Managers

  • Manages teams on one or more site and reports back to their LM on all aspects of our services delivery

  • Can interact with Employers at monthly stake holder meetings and represent our organisation

Qualifications / experience

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying

  • Degree qualified in Engineering with MSc in Quantity Surveying

  • MRICS

  • Managed a medium sized team (s) - up to 10 people

  • Has successfully delivered one or more major project with a value of over $100m

  • Can demonstrate pre and post contract experience on various projects

  • Typically manages / oversee multiple projects or delivers a major commission

  • Is known as a technical service delivery expert in the CM business
