To provide drawing expertise on single and multi disciplinary projects in the public and private sectors. This will cover aspects related to Power generation, Power Networks (T&D and Renewable), and Infrastructure projects.

Technical Competencies

Essential

• To have a minimum of 8 - 10 years hands on experience working with Revit / Tekla / Civil 3D / RC CAD / AutoCAD / Microstation / Dynamo/ BIM Related software within a consultancy environment.

• Knowledge of CAD/BIM standard.

• Self-motivated development.

• Capable of preparing and guiding preparation of complex drawings.

• Competent to check the work done by other juniors.

• To have a good understanding of the Civil / Structural / Mechanical design requirements.

• Need to have good knowledge of drawing control, revisions & issue protocols.

• To be able to self check work.

• Consistent attention to technical & quality deliverables.

• Self- sufficient, can make informed decisions on own initiative

• Have an appreciation of other discipline requirements within a multi disciplinary office.

• To be able to communicate effective both verbally & in writing, in English.

• Be prepared to learn new skills & techniques from a variety of sources.

• Working knowledge of standard codes and EDMS (Electronic Data Management System)

Desirable

• Exposure to UK, India, Middle East, APAC region and other International standards.

• Experience with 3D modelling systems such as Revit, Civil 3D, Microstation 3D, AutoCAD 3D, PDMS and other BIM Related software’s.

• Knowledge of BIM standards

• Experience in Xrefs usage

• Familiarity with preparation of BEP

• Preparation of sketches & figures.

Responsibilities

·        To produce design and drawings of Civil for the assigned project (s) / tasks.

·        Preparation of Foundation layouts, sections and stage by stage drawings for substations     and switch Rooms

·        Preparation of RC detailing and Structural Detailing.

·        Preparation of Earthing execution detailing work using Civil 3D.

·        Preparation of 3D substation Models and all other drawings using BIM.

·        Preparation of hazardous area classification layouts.

·        Preparation of Infrastructure Projects Utility drawings (Ex- Water plans) 

·        Ability to work within a team environment with minimum of supervision.

·        Ability to coordinate with design team of other disciplines for inter-disciplinary interaction.

·        Ability to co-ordinate with client & contractor for discussions and data collection as              required.

·     Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the    company Quality Assurance system. Familiarity in discipline internal checks, squad checks for deliverables. Completion of tasks received from Engineers
