Business Development Manager - India

Responsibilities:
  • Primary responsibility includes providing a broad range of business development services for F+G business in India. 
  • Develop new business relationships with both multinational as well as national companies in India doing major construction projects of commercial, corporate, hospitality, pharma and infrastructural.
  • Responsible for lead generation and follow-up leading to firm enquiries of the business.
  • Present F+G capabilities for project and program management and cost consultancy services.
  • Report to the F+G India Business Head and Deputy Country Manager and keep them continuously appraised of the activities being carried out and their progress.
  • Assist Deputy Country Manager in bid preparations, clarifications, etc.
  • Conduct Market study and report as required by F+G India Business Head and Deputy Country Manager
  • Follow up with F+G team globally and develop business opportunities transfer to India.
  • Support F+G Deputy Country Manager in team establishment for existing and new businesses
Requirements:
 
  • The candidate should be educated to degree level in an engineering discipline.
  • 12+ years’ experience in Business development activities across India.
  • Should be an excellent communicator at all levels. 
  • A proven and successful track record in business development in an engineering market including Real Estate, Construction and Infrastructure projects, where consultancy and project management services are at the core of the business. This will ideally be complemented by experience of winning significant new opportunities, engagements, building a strong pipeline of revenue and exceeding business targets.
  • Commercially focused, creative, confident, self-driven and inventive, able to originate complex commercial solutions, yet patient and tenacious as required.
  • Sensitive and appreciative of culture and the challenges of working with clients across India, the candidate will have the ability to listen and to communicate complex commercial solutions confidently yet sensitively with customers, colleagues and senior leadership with equal skill.
  • The candidate should be educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in an engineering discipline.
  • Readiness to travel for business on need basis.
