The UK transport sector is experiencing unprecedented levels of investment and SNC Lavalin/Atkins is playing a lead role in helping our clients develop, plan and deliver projects as part of long-term infrastructure programmes.

The sector has seen significant growth driven by long-term funding commitments from Government in recognition of the critical role that strategic connectivity plays in supporting economic growth. Our clients face key challenges in defining and delivering their long-term programmes, maximising the value of assets and embracing new technologies so that they can deliver the best outcomes for users and for the economy.
These challenges are driving the need for change in the way our clients do business enabling them to deliver their investments and deliver against their strategic priorities. Our Transport Business Consulting and Advisory Practice sits within our Transportation Consultancy business and helps our clients to solve some of their most critical business challenges.

Our Business Transformation team, in Transport Business Consulting and Advisory Practice is a relatively new team set up in the last quarter of 2017 to enable us to move outside Atkins traditional core services for Transportation clients, including working with new clients, to create a differentiator through solving domain specific strategic business challenges.

These might include strategy development – both business and delivery, research, analysis, organisational development, cultural and behavioural change, business process analysis and improvement, change impact assessment, coaching and/or mentoring; training development and delivery

We require highly collaborative individuals who can deliver great results and operate to high behavioural standards and business ethics and who are capable of maximising the value of networks within and outside Atkins, including with our market facing teams.
You should have well developed emotional intelligence and the ability to flex your style to suit different stakeholders and the ability to build trusted and lasting relationships with clients at all levels in a business environment.

You will have excellent written communication skills and the ability to present and deliver outcomes which are compelling, accurate, and engaging both to clients and in support of our business development and work winning activities.
