Atkins has been providing infrastructure planning, engineering, construction, environmental consulting, urban planning, architecture, and program management services to public and private clients across the United States for more than 50 years.

Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Henderson, NV office as a CAD Technician- Bridges/Structures

Major Function/Role:

Under close supervision, performs computer-assisted drafting to support the technical services of the company.

Job Duties:

Work with structural engineers to prepare details and plans during the preliminary and final design stages of bridges, sign structures, retaining walls, drainage structures and other miscellaneous structures.
Coordinate with roadway engineers and other disciplines to incorporate their input on the structural/bridge plans

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
This level may be achieved four years' experience OR an Associate’s Degree in a related field plus two years’ experience is required.

Special Skills:

Good mathematical and MicroStation & AutoCAD skills.
Previous work experience on NDOT or other local projects are preferred
