On joining the Atkins’ Nuclear business, you’ll be an integral part of a team specializing in taking on the most challenging engineering projects and opportunities from technical leadership to project management. Existing relationships with major clients offer us a stimulating variety of work within a team which is rapidly developing to meet the challenge of sustainable growth and innovation in the energy industry.

Atkins Nuclear Solutions US is currently seeking a Chemistry Instructor to join the nuclear team.

Job Summary

Applying the ADDIE training process in the development of SAT based initial training programs for maintenance and engineering in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical, I&C, Chemistry and Radiation Protection.

Work with and mentor international teams based on INPO/WANO training guidelines in developing SAT based training programs.

Developing written examination questions.

Providing classroom and OJT instruction.

Conducting TPE evaluations.

Must be willing to travel between the United Arab Emirates and South Korea when required.



Required and Desired Skills

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a nuclear instructor

 

INPO instructor certification is preferred

 

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of expertise

 

Multicultural environment experience preferred

 

Proven instructional skills

 

Expert knowledge of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) and the ADDIE process

 

Qualification as On-the-job (OJT) and Technical Performance Evaluation (TPE) evaluator


Due to current law, and in conjunction with the advertised position’s scope of work, candidates that are Non-US citizens are required to be submitted for further approval to the NNSA before being considered for hiring purposes. In addition, any candidates with dual citizenship in the US and another country must undergo further review for approval by the NNSA. Proof of citizenship will be requested upon receipt of application/resume.
