Civil CAD Designer

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


College degree in related technical field.

CAD training required.

Civil 3D experience is a plus, but not required. Aviation design experience is a plus, but not required.

Civil site design is required.

Generally requires minimum eight years of related experience in a combination of technician and/or CAD technician or designer positions.

May also require experience in the particular discipline supported.

Strong knowledge of sat and local codes and ordinances, design inputs codes and standards.

Good interpersonal skills and capable of developing technical writing, and communications skills.

AutoCAD skills are desired for this position.

Other CAD platforms may provide useful background, however, the majority of the work to be completed will be in AutoCAD.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

Work with Google Earth, GIS, and other software pertaining to maps and design are considered beneficial.

Ability and/or willingness to do short-term travel assignments a plus.

Candidates should have an interest in aviation and be willing to learn aviation codes and standards.
