We are seeking Gas/Utility Engineers to join our growing Civil Infrastructure business, based in London, to play a major role in the growth of our business.

 

This is a great opportunity for Civil Engineers with Infrastructure experience looking to make a real contribution to some of the worlds most exciting and complex engineering projects whilst developing their career within a forward thinking organisation.

Credibility, competence and technical excellence are a given as the role requires close working with our clients, decision makers, industry stakeholders and other consultants to develop robust design solutions through collaborative and proactive management of client demands.

Requirements

 

Degree-qualified Civil Engineer

Ideally near Chartered Civil Engineer, signed off training agreement or equivalent welcomed

Post graduate experience in development infrastructure projects

Proven track record in design delivery with specific experience of Drainage design, FRA and SuDs solutions, from planning to implementation

Road design, junctions and layout, including adoption by local authorities

Earthworks and geotechnical solutions

New utilities to development sites and diversions

Implementing Sustainable design solutions with knowledge of CEQUAL/BREEAM

Contamination and site remediation

Knowledge of current planning requirements, design codes and standards relating to Civil and Infrastructure Engineering

Knowledge of construction implementation with site supervision and contract administration experience.

Knowledge of industry standard drainage, road design and modelling software

Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects on time and to budget

Sound commercial understanding

Good communicator (written, verbal & presentations)

A natural curiosity for developing innovative and cost effective solutions for our clients

Natural team builder, developing the technical excellence of our growing team.

Able to develop and motivate others

A winning attitude

Proven record of developing client relationships and ability to win new consultancy work

 

Responsibilities

 

Technical responsibility for civil infrastructure design delivery

Project Management and Design Management of our consultancy services, delivering projects to time and to budget

Management and technical development of our Engineers

Client and stakeholder interface

Co-ordination and management of other discipline inputs into projects

Development and growth of the Civil Infrastructure team
