We are seeking Engineers to join our growing Civil Infrastructure business, based in Epsom, to play a major role in the growth of our business.

 

This is a great opportunity for Infrastructure Engineers looking to make a real contribution to some of the world’s most exciting and complex engineering projects whilst developing their career within a forward thinking organisation.

 

You’ll be a near Chartered Civil Engineer with a proven track record of successful delivery of schemes from the master plan stage, to detailed design and completion of construction. You’ll be responsible for the technical direction of our Client’s projects with a natural curiosity for looking at innovative methods of design and delivery.

Requirements

Degree-qualified Civil Engineer;

Chartered Civil Engineer or near Chartered (CPR planned over next year);

Proven track record in design delivery with specific experience of:

Working in a multi-disciplinary environment in AMP schemes (water industry) and familiar with governance procedures;

Flood risk assessments and sustainable drainage solutions, from planning to implementation;

Development of drainage strategies for private developments

Detail drainage design;

Working to RIBA stages of work;

In depth knowledge and application of MicroDrainage software, including Flood Flow analysis

Designing utilities to development sites and their diversions;

Implementing sustainable design solutions with knowledge of CEQUAL/BREEAM

Design infrastructure for contaminated sites and ground remediation;

Coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects on time and to budget

Experienced in designing to planning requirements, design codes and standards;

Bread of experience covering  public (adoptable) and private  drainage infrastructure, pavement engineering and  in the water industry;

Experienced in site supervision;

Discharge designer duties under CDM regulations

Good communicator (written, verbal & presentations);

A natural curiosity for developing innovative and cost effective solutions for our clients;

Experienced in coaching, mentoring and motivating others;

Natural team builder, developing the technical excellence of our growing team.

Proven record of developing client relationships and ability to win new consultancy work;

 

Responsibilities

Technical responsibility for civil infrastructure design delivery;

Project & design management of our consultancy services, delivering projects to time and to budget;

Management and technical development of our Engineers;

Client and stakeholder interface;

Co-ordination and management of other discipline inputs into projects.
