Commercial Manager - 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Responsibilities
• Drafting and agreement of subcontracts.
• Compiling RFQs and running competitive tenders.
• Review contracts.
• Review and draft NDAs/teaming agreements.
• Attendance at internal review meetings.
• Application of internal governance procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications
• Degree in law/business studies/engineering.
• MCIPS/CCME (iaccm) or equivalent desirable.

Essential Criteria
• Experience of running competitive procurements, including development of RFPs, scope of work, assessment criteria, drafting and negotiation of subcontract terms.
• Experience of providing pre-sales and sales support including reviewing, negotiating and drafting contract terms.
• Experience of defence and other government contracting including CCS terms.

Desirable Criteria
• Experience of contracting using MOD single source pricing regulations.
• Knowledge of/experience of software licensing.

The Individual
You will be well organised and enthusiastic, with good written, verbal and interpersonal skills. You will have a creative and pragmatic approach to problem solving and be able to work without detailed supervision.

Additional Information
The job will be based at either Bristol or Aldershot. Visiting other ADS&T sites (Aldershot, Bristol, London, Cheltenham) will be required.

This is a contract for 12 months running Jan- Dec 2019 to cover an overseas secondment.
