Commercial Manager- Local Transport

The Role

We are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager to join our Project Commercial team within our Project delivery practice delivering a wide range of transportation and intelligent mobility projects across the Local Transport Market. The Team

The commercial management function within our Transportation division provides support and guidance to the whole of Transportation in commercial management, project controls and corporate governance and assurance. Transportation has three markets which includes Local Transport – the role provides commercial management support to the management team within this market.


Requirements

We are seeking passionate/high achieving Commercial experts with experience within either the Transportation or Construction sectors with experience of both pre and post contract negotiations. You will support the leadership team to pursue the goals of the business. You will develop and implement strategies to maximise project revenues and ensure timely submission of all contractual notices along with guiding and leading the Project Management teams with advice and contractual support for project issues. What will also be key in this role is your ability to work across the practices as well as within the market as we aim to deliver across a wide portfolio of projects.

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

• Educated to degree level with substantial Commercial Management experience within either the Transportation/ Construction or any other Engineering sectors
• Experience of both pre or post contract negotiations
• Experience of managing a Commercial portfolio of Engineering/Construction projects.
• Extensive experience of managing within a matrix style organisation
