Construction Project Manager / Piping Specialist
Our team in Tennessee is growing! If you want to be a part of a successful global organization and have at least 5 years or more of experience as a Construction Manager working on large industrial and/or manufacturing greenfield sites with a heavy focus on piping and mechanicals , we would like to connect with you. This position manages mechanical utility and piping systems such as Potable Water, Hot & Chilled Water, Compressed Air, Natural Gas, and Steam & Condensate based on contractual requirements agreed by Faithful+Gould. Responsibilities include; QA/QC, daily communication with clients and contractors, coordinating resources for the completion of assigned tasks, providing project reports as necessary, budget management, schedule review and face to face meetings as required. This is a fulltime internal position with Faithful+Gould that comes with robust benefits. We seek individuals that are looking for long term tenure with the opportunity for career growth. Responsibilities
-Ensure that all work is carried out to the required quality in the best possible
manner and within the guidelines of industry’s best engineering practices and local codes.
- Conduct frequent audits and to document the outcomes to verify that enough efforts
have been put in the areas of productivity, safety and quality.
-Stop processes if they do not meet specified requirements, raise occurrence
report, develop corrective and preventive action and ensure that rework is carried
out acceptably.
- Coordinate and report and communicate with Project Managers ensuring smooth workflow on projects.
- Provide back up to Project Managers for managing and handling projects including
providing technical advice as required.
- Direct and monitor subs performance and provide continuous evaluation and feedback.
- Take ownership of success or failure of the individual projects and resort to
corrective measure to avoid recurrence in future.
-Have a good knowledge about steam/condensate installation and inspections/documentation needed by code.

Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field, plus five years relevant experience or 10 years of relevant experience
-High level of knowledge of building greenfield construction
-Must have state construction supervisor’s license, 30-hour training in OSHA safety requirements, and CMA
-Highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision-making abilities.
-Ability to navigate Web-based construction management software (often provided by the client). Must have experience with setting meetings, organizing agendas, and keeping minutes for projects records
-Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft -Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
