Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Denver, Colorado office as a Construction Quality Assurance Inspector.


MAJOR FUNCTIONS/ROLES

Under supervision, observes the work of contractors involved in the construction of projects. NOTE: Incumbents do not supervise any contractor activities and are not responsible for job site safety.

JOB DUTIES:

Performs non-manual field work in support of company’s construction management operations. Applies conventional field observation practices in diversified construction projects with relatively few highly complex features.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field and two years related experience. With Associate’s degree, ten years of related experience. Without a degree, twelve years related experience is required.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Exceptional math, communications, computers, and organizational skills.

PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS:

None

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum five years of highway construction inspection experience desired. Experience with Colorado Department of Transportation projects preferred. Experience with Traffic Maintenance, Traffic Control, and Traffic Procedures preferred.
