Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our team as a Contract Close Out and GL coder in Tampa, FL.



Job Description & Job Duties

Provide administrative and operations support to the Contracts and Procurement Team.

Perform subcontract close out activities as well as reviewing overhead requisitions to ensure appropriate coding.

Work involves running reports, coordination of releases with subcontractors, coordination between procurement and accounting to ensure accuracy with coding the correct G/L accounts.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, plus 3 – 5 years' experience.

Without a degree, requires 5 – 10 years' experience in progressively responsible administrative work.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.

Knowledge of contract cost types cost reimbursable is preferred.

Familiarity with accounting a plus

Knowledge of business administration practices and principles, including finance and accounting.

Computer skills required, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Knowledge of the consulting engineering industry helpful.

Ability to deal effectively and harmoniously with people at all levels of the organization.
