Job Overview

Linxon, a leading provider of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contracts Manager to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Contracts Manager at Linxon, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the contractual aspects of our projects, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while fostering strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

Contract Administration: Manage the end-to-end contract administration process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, subcontracts, and other legal documents.

Risk Management: Identify and assess potential contractual risks and provide strategic advice to the project team. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the interests of Linxon.

Compliance: Ensure that all contracts adhere to legal and regulatory requirements. Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may impact contract terms and conditions.

Negotiation: Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to negotiate favorable contract terms. Resolve contractual disputes in a timely and effective manner.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation. Track and manage contract changes, amendments, and approvals.

Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on contract status, risks, and performance metrics to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree or legal qualifications are a plus.

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the field of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.

  • Strong understanding of contract law, construction industry practices, and project management principles.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
