Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Austin Shared Services Group as a Learning and Development Coordinator. 


Responsible for employee training as a member of the North America Learning and Development Team, related client service (employee support), and program marketing. Serves as team lead for webinar development and facilitation. Participates as member of regional administration team for learning management system and as logistics coordinator for Learning and Development products and programs. Performs basic instructional design for webinar and eLearning.


Moderately complex tasks and processes in support of training and education programs. Requires a continuous improvement mindset based on an understanding of the company's strategic and tactical priorities.








Bachelor's degree in business, education, marketing or related area. Minimum of one year of experience in client service, education, and event planning and coordination or related area, and related information management. At least one year of experience with the company preferred to demonstrate broad knowledge of the company's operations, history and organization. Candidate must have at least one year experience of corporate learning and development training.


Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word 2013 or 2016. Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with learning management systems, web conferencing systems (ie., WebEx) and Articulate Studio preferred. Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be detail-oriented with strong customer service skills and an excellent time manager.


None required. Accredited certificate in virtual classroom facilitation preferred.
