Cost Engineer

Our South San Francisco team is growing! If you want to be a part of a successful global organization and have at least 4 years of experience as a Cost Engineer with some scheduling experience please reach out. We are looking for specific experience in building construction along with some general knowledge and background in project management.

Responsibilities

-Time management and control for the stakeholders and the project team

-Will support senior project controls management with detailed accounting services

-Will provide cost forecasting and reporting

-Will be responsible for including invoice review for accuracy

-Responsible for procurement status

-Will perform other duties as needed

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or related field

-4+ years relevant experience

-Must have strong understanding of building construction, along with some general knowledge and background in project management and estimating

-Strong understanding of earned value concepts, calculations, and rules of credit

-Must have strong communication skills

-Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.

Certification with AACE, PMI or CMAA is preferred.
