Cost Management Analyst

Our Arden, NC team is growing! Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who provides professional support to invoice validation, cost forecasting and reporting, change management and close out
administration, including assistance with procurement, earned value and value engineering

-Assists in the preparation and issuance of periodic cost reports

-Inputs PO, orders and invoices into the cost report where applicable.

- Assists in the preparation of a cash flow with the cost report, and issues to clients finance/construction team

-Assists in the preparation and monitoring of a change order log

-Assists in the review of change orders in accordance with the clients approval process

-Assists in the review and monitoring all the invoices for the project. Codes the invoices where applicable and forwards them to the client's account payable department

-Assists in the procurement of construction and engineering services, including preparing RFP and bid analysis, where applicable.

-Assists in the overview of contractor buyout of subcontract bid packages, where applicable

-Helps organize bi-weekly cost meetings to review procurement status and change order status with the contractors and engineering teams. Attends meetings.

-Assists in the review of contractor closeout documents.

- Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

 

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field

-Two years’ relevant experience

-Experience with Primavera or Microsoft Projects is preferred.

-Experience in commercial, industrial, refinery, semi-conductor, and/or pharmaceuticals is preferred.

-Working knowledge of industry standard software, including but not limited to SAP, Skire, VersaPro, etc. and ERP, Planning & Scheduling, and cost management applications. .

-Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.

-Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision making abilities. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
