Why not...

Atkins is shaping the future of transportation and we’re looking for talented people to join us in developing and expanding our Transport Asset Management practice. You’ll join at an exciting time with asset management being a key growth theme across both our Transportation and wider businesses.

As the digital world collides with our physical environment, we're facing a wave of opportunity to use our skills in new ways. Our team is seizing this opportunity to grow and shape the industry. We are a team of asset management professionals with rich and diverse professional and personal backgrounds, and we cover all parts of asset management, including strategic, tactical, analytics, and resilience advice. The projects we work on are varied, dynamic and stimulating, providing plenty of opportunity for new challenges and personal growth.

The analyst team provides vital support to clients and other teams within Atkins, helping them understand their data and bring it to life. We use tools such as FME, Power BI, Tableau, Excel and databases to process, analyse and interpret data. We use our skills and experience to help our colleagues and clients interpret the data and use it for evidence-based decision making, which often involves using visual tools and dashboards.

We are looking for an experienced analyst with a range of experience (even if it is outside the transportation sector). The person we’re seeking to employ will enjoy contributing across a portfolio of consultancy projects and will thrive in a busy, innovative and challenging environment. You’ll be technically excellent and will be equally happy presenting to a client or developing technical details back at the office.

Depending on your level of experience and on your appetite for a challenge, you will be either assisting in projects under the direction of senior analysts, or leading projects and delivery teams.

The core of our analyst team is based at our Birmingham office but we’re a flexible employer and will consider the right candidates nationally. We also support the wider Atkins group and travel to other UK offices and occasionally overseas may form part of this role.
