We are currently recruiting facilities management apprentices for our London office (Euston Tower).

As an apprentice, you would be joining a technical consultancy within the facilities and asset management sector of the built environment.  Much of the work is national with some international projects. The team of technical consultant’s support clients on a wide range of complex projects.

As a member of the strategic asset management team you can expect to:

• Provide support to our consultants including project management, developing report and building models
• Work across all our functions including cost consulting, sustainability and facilities and asset management
• Receive on the job training using a range of systems including Excel, InDesign and Visio.
• Be responsible for pushing your own training needs outside of your degree course
• Be willing to support members of the team in administrative tasks such as meeting minutes, managing financials and developing collateral for clients
• Be open to take on new opportunities as they arise, we tend to work across a range of jobs at once.

The team also offer rotations which will put you into contact with life cycle costing with the cost consultants, as well as sustainability and built environment projects from environmental assessments to supporting clients through all RIBA stages on a BREEAM project. As an apprentice, you will have a supportive training package tailored to your individual needs, you will define this with your mentor to take you from a level 6 degree apprentice to a chartered professional.

Who we’re looking for

Enthusiastic, inclusive and committed, you should be curious about the world around you and always want to learn more. To really succeed in the role, you will need to demonstrate that you have:

• At least 5 GCSEs or equivalent including a minimum of a grade B OR 6 in Mathematics and a C OR 4 in English Language
• Three A Levels grades C or above (minimum of 230 UCAS points) OR alternatively a BTEC level three with a minimum of two A Levels (C and above) OR equivalent
• The ability to work in a team, assisting with the planning, design and smooth running of a variety of projects
• Creativity and strong communication skills
• A practical mind, self-motivated and reliable
• A drive to keep on developing your technical skills and achieve professional status (RICS).
