The Digital Product Developer will be part of Atkins Transportation Win Work team and will play a key role in the following areas:
• Application Development – working with engineering and business specialists in the business, responsible for identification and promotion of new applications, workflows and tools to support Win Work (and wider business) activity – including Microsoft PowerApps, Power BI, and others in the Office 365 suite
• Reporting / Data Analysis – responsible for the development and maintenance of Microsoft Excel based reporting tools to support Win Work in the Atkins Transportation Division. Interfacing with applications including – Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Hyperion and JDE
The Digital Product Developer will play a key role in the development and adoption of digital tools and systems within Atkins Transportation division.


Responsibilities:
• Participates in the design, specification, implementation, and maintenance of systems / applications
• Designs, codes, tests, and documents applications / reports of moderate complexity as per the requirement specifications
• Assists in preparation of requirement specifications, laying out of screens, reports, and forms including documenting and revising user procedures and/or manuals
• Analyses, reviews, and alters applications / reports to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Writes documentation to describe development, logic, coding, and corrections
• Supports existing applications / reports to cover incident management and problem management
• Performs other duties as assigned to support application / reporting development
Experience and Skills Requirements:
• Programming or application development experience
• Experience with SQL & Microsoft PowerApps
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Power BI
• SharePoint experience is highly preferred
• Development and maintenance of Excel based reports – building, using and maintaining complex macros from multiple data sources
• Good programming skills – including VBA
• Requires knowledge of basic financial analysis and principles with the ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, factored weightings, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills – ability to research, analyse and interpret requirements to effectively solve problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
• Ability to effectively present information
