The Document Control Manager supervises a team of document control technicians; and partners with the Office Engineers and Project Managers.

The Document Control Manager is responsible for: establishing a procedural framework for collecting the controlled documents, including developing and/or enhancing document controls procedures and tools; managing and enforcing the collection, distribution and filing of controlled documents, including being watchful of documents moving in and through the organization to validate correct processing and recording, reviewing the BOAC calendars and internal meeting calendars to capture presentation material, and conducting periodic spot audits of a functional group’s document control; and for providing document control training to seek collaboration and cooperation of the functional groups.

Responsibilities:
-Establishment of schedules for projects in alignment with established standards.
-Integration of vendor schedules with overall Program Integrated Master Schedule.
-Review quality of submissions; analyze and resolve coding, structure, or other discrepancies,
-Import schedule, assess progress, and develop variance analysis.
-Prepare earned value analysis and prepare schedule metrics reports for the project.
-Support project cost management activities including development of cost baselines, earned value reporting, change management, contingency allocations, and forecasting.
-Liaison with engineers, project managers, and contractors.
-Translate complex scopes into clear executable job plans.

Requirements:
-Associate’s degree, in Business, Marketing or Communications
-Two years of project planning/scheduling experience
-Current Security Clearance or within the last two years
-Understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) concepts and calculations
-Understanding of earned value concepts, calculations, and rules of credit
-Proficiency in Primavera scheduling products is a plus
-Experience analyzing contractor-prepared delay claims
-Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite
-Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management methods is preferred
