Atkins is currently seeking a highly motivated self-starter to join our Oak Ridge Energy Team as Records Specialist.
Job Description:
Processes company records (which includes entering into database, scanning, e-filing, manual filing, and uploading to the company SharePoint site).
Processes service requests.
Processes and distributes incoming mail.
Manages the document or drawing review and approval process via Electronic Document Review System (EDRS) and Record Management System (RMS).
Assists in document formatting using document templates.
Issues document and drawing numbers.
Enters controlled documents and drawings into RMS.
Manages the design modification process in RMS.
Manages the vendor deliverable and submittal process in EDRS and RMS.
Prepares, maintains, and issues controlled copy documents/drawings.
Moves records to off-site facilities.
Maintains documents or drawings review history files.
Supports the execution of Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) guiding principles and core functions and the Isotek Safety Culture.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Advanced knowledge of databases.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail skills.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Education/Experience:
Associate of Science degree preferred.
Minimum of 2-plus years of records management and/or document control experience.
Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter.
US citizenship required for Atkins Global Isotek Systems project positions.
