Faithful+Gould is currently looking for an experienced Document Controller to form part of our Programme/Project Management Consultant (PMC) project team based in Abu Dhabi. This is a full time permanent project based position in Abu Dhabi. The project is expected to last for at least 5 years.
Responsibilities:

To support the head office management team in day to day duties throughout the project lifecycle from inception to completion including
-
Maintaining a record of controlled documents on distribution.

Maintenance of computerized databases.
-
Recording of incoming / outgoing correspondence and design documentation.
-
Use of databases to find design drawings.
-
Produce requests for design drawings and monitor receipt of drawings.
-
Control of drawings: checking in, quality check, transfers and return to client.
-
Return of all design hand-back documentation to client.
-
Production of Issue sets of design.
-
Carry out quality checks of drawings produced.

Create and maintain Project Document Control Files.

Creation and management of trackers / registers for design deliverables

Provide support to the bid management team

Requirement:

Degree qualified: Bachelor Degree or equivalent in a related field;

Must be able to communicate confidently in both written and spoken English;

High level of computer literacy, especially in Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel;

ACONEX experience essential;
-
Arabic speaking advantageous but not essential

Experience with ISO9000 quality requirements.
