Faithful+Gould is currently looking for an experienced Document Controller to form part of our Programme/Project Management Consultant (PMC) project team based in Abu Dhabi.  This is a full time permanent project based position in Abu Dhabi. The project is expected to last for at least 5 years.

 

Responsibilities:

  • To support the head office management  team in day to day duties throughout the project lifecycle from inception to completion including
  • Maintaining a record of controlled documents on distribution.
  • Maintenance of computerized databases.
  • Recording of incoming / outgoing correspondence and design documentation.
  • Use of databases to find design drawings.
  • Produce requests for design drawings and monitor receipt of drawings.
  • Control of drawings: checking in, quality check, transfers and return to client.
  • Return of all design hand-back documentation to client.
  • Production of Issue sets of design.
  • Carry out quality checks of drawings produced.
  • Create and maintain Project Document Control Files.
  • Creation and management of trackers / registers for design deliverables
  • Provide support to the bid management team

Requirement:

  • Degree qualified: Bachelor Degree or equivalent in a related field;
  • Must be able to communicate confidently in both written and spoken English;
  • High level of computer literacy, especially in Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel;
  • ACONEX experience essential;
  • Arabic speaking advantageous but not essential
  • Experience with ISO9000 quality requirements.
