We are currently recruiting for an E&P Site Supervisor to become a key member of the team and have a high level of competency to assist in the delivery of E&P installations within the Rail sector. The installations will encompass signalling power supplies, points heating. DNO supplies and also building services for stations and depots and trackside schemes. The location for this role will be based out of our Croydon office but will spend most of the time within the Atkins project site offices.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Construction Manager/Site Manager on the performance and productivity of the E&P installation team working on their project.
•Integrate with and support a team of Design Engineers who undertake electrical work within a Rail environment.
•Briefing staff with latest technical & safety standards.
•Assist the Construction Manager/Site Manager on the Successful hand back of assets to Network Rail upon completion of works.
•Assist in the Preparation of the O&M hand back documentation interfacing with the design engineers.
•Order all project materials and plant through the correct procedures and make sure all materials are ordered on time.
•Interact with the client and also all other sub-contractors to ensure all E&P works are done to BS7671 and also Network Rail Group Standards
•Attend weekly project meeting including possession meetings.
•Plan works and manage staff as per the project program
•Making sure that all installations are done as per design and to group standards.
•Producing all testing documentation for the project.


Requirements

•17th edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
•17th Edition IEE Testing & Inspection C&G 2394 & 2395.
•Has the ability to assist in the Tender & Estimate E&P related project enquiries and develop programmes.
•Appropriate experience working in Rail infrastructure environment is essential, who can demonstrate experience with Signalling Power Supplies, Points Heating & Station refurbishment.
•The successful applicant will be a competent user of IT tools in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
•Previous experience in working on 650v signalling power systems, points heating installations , lighting installations , 230v and 400v power supplies.
•Full clean UK driving licence.

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary it will be discussed with you at interview.
