- Manage estimating process for project greater than (USD)10m
- Manage multiple vendors to ensure quality and accuracy of estimates
- Co-ordinate total project cost with project team members
- Develop owner costs for projects
- Efficiently manage historical data for future estimating use
- Conceptual estimating of Office, Lab and Manufacturing projects
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or related field
-Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in the construction Industry, or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree
-Minimum of 2 years Bay Area construction market experience
-Experience in Office and Laboratory construction essential
-Experience in cGMP manufacturing and supply chain construction preferred
-Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications required
-Proficient with Sage Timberline Estimating applications or similar preferred
-Cost Control and Scheduling knowledge a potential differentiator
-Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Very strong verbal and written communicator
-Strong teamwork skills
-Strong negotiation skills
-Very experienced with leading meetings, reviews and sub-project teams
-Strong decision making skills
-Strong planning and prioritization skills
