Atkins Nuclear Solutions US is currently seeking a Facility Maintenance Supervisor to join the nuclear team in Oak Ridge, TN
Participates in the hiring process that ensures positions are staffed with personnel who possess the appropriate education and experience and who can be successful in meeting training and qualification requirements that ensure personnel are appropriately indoctrinated and trained to the necessary competence level for performing their duties.
Manages the activities, professional development and performance of personnel performing work within their respective department.
Schedules, coordinates, and ensures satisfactory completion of maintenance work within the facility, including planning, documentation, execution, and post-maintenance testing.
Ensures that facility changes and modifications are performed as required by Configuration Management procedures.
Coordinates and maintains facility maintenance, preventive maintenance and calibration programs for operational equipment.
Ensures that facility maintenance is performed in accordance with properly approved Work Packages.
Evaluates need for required permits for planned maintenance activities.
Allocates resources to meet maintenance support requirements and integrates operations and maintenance activities.
Assists in budget development and controls costs to meet budget constraints.
Ensures regulatory compliance steps with all applicable state and federal radiological, environmental, Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and other oversight groups.
Coordinates the development, review, and approval of work control documentation with appropriate facility personnel as applicable.
Leads pre-job briefings as required by procedures, ensuring job steps and hazard controls are understood.
Verifies that appropriate administrative closeout documentation has been completed for maintenance work activities.
Notifies subcontractors and/or vendors of facility hazards before initiating scheduled work activities in designated facility.
Performs in the role of Task Leader, as assigned.
Supports the execution of Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) guiding principles and core functions and the Isotek Safety Culture.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements & Desired Skills
Supervisory experience required.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
Strong organization skills.
Ability to interface at all levels of organization.
Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma.
Three years nuclear experience

US citizenship required for Atkins Global Isotek Systems project positions.
