Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Calverton, MD Federal Group as a Project Coordinator. This position can sit in any Atkins Office.

 
Major Function/Role:

Provides project-related analysis and review support to Technical Manager(s). Work within an established PMO for a large program providing support for financial tracking, subconsultant communications, process development and improvement.


Job Duties:

Work requires interpretation of established procedures and guidelines. Utilizing Excel at an expert level, create and use tools for financial tracking and reporting.



Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline with four years of business experience. Without a degree, this is typically reached through a minimum of ten years experience in relevant analytical and/or project administrative work.


Special Skills:

Ability to perform mathematical calculations, to understand contracts, specifications, organize information and use microcomputer. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required. Good interpersonal skills required to interact effectively with project managers and subconsultants. Must have good analytical ability and technical skills.


Additional Requirements:

Must be advanced to expert in Excel with the ability and creativity to develop tools needed for information processing and reporting. Must have experience in PMO, cost estimating and proposals.
