Job Responsibilities:

To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for the fire protection engineering coordinator & preparation of drawings and technical documentation required for the execution of a project including pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, food, agrifood and any of Industrial processing area but not limited to:

• Review and analysis of regulatory requirement
• Basis of Design / General Fire Protection Drawings
• Hydraulic calculation for fire fighting system
• Fire Pump System design and selection (Pump curve / performance)
• Equipment Arrangement / Calculations & Technical specifications
• Fire fighting network and sprinkler coverage and head arrangement
• Bill of Materials Take off
• Knowledge and understanding of NFPA code and FM global standard
• Coordination and management of vendor and other discipline
• Technical clarification with vendor and/or sub -constructor
• Review shop drawings and execute TBE of vendor or sub-contractor
• Ensuring design work interfaces well with that of other disciplines.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant engineering standards and procedures
• Coordinate, oversee and supervise the Site Construction Work and liaison with site general contractor

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fire and Disaster Prevention or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• +10 years’ experience in the mechanical engineering
• AutoCAD experience is must
• Good hand-on skill with 3D Modeling tools such as Sketch Up, 3D Max Modeling, Revit, etc.
• Additional Knowledge of 3D Design Software is added value
• (MUST) Engineering Fire Protection System – Mechanical
• Thorough Knowledge of Korea Code and local legislative regulations / International codes regulations
• Added value in having past work experience in the multicultural team environment
