Assistant Engineer

Requirements

The successful applicant will be a assistant geotechnical engineer with a good technical track record. 

• A strong academic background with degree in Civil engineering and Master Degree in a relevant subject
• Ability to work in project teams under supervision of senior staff
• Assist in the delivery of projects and offers
• With minimum 5-8 years of relevant design experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and technical skills
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with international clients
• Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work
• A flair for innovation
• A willingness to travel on short term assignments to overseas. 

Mandatory Requirements: 

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Masters Degree in a relevant subject with appropriate experience in the field of geotechnical engineering either with civil consultancy or as a designer for a ground engineering contractor. 

Candidates will be asked to show how their experience demonstrates ability to:

• Design of modular and embedded retaining walls, slope stability analysis & pile group analysis.
• Conversant with geotechnical analysis software like : GEOSTUDIO, WALLAP, ALP, PDISP.

Desirable Requirements: 

• Ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers.
• Willingness to travel to overseas.
• Excellent written and spoken English within a business environment.
• Good interpersonal and Communication Skills.
