Due to our continued success in the Saudi, we are now seeking to add a GIS/BIM Standards Manager to join an established professional team, committed to technical integrity, innovation and development of its people.


Responsibilities:

  • Integration of data from multiple sources into the spatial data repository.
  • Analysis, interrogation and manipulation of spatial data received from stakeholders and third parties.
  • Spatial and temporal analysis of data.
  • Adherence to project quality procedures.
  • Look for opportunities to increase efficiency on the project.

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree qualification in GIS or a related field.
  • Experience of providing GIS support to multidiscipline, client focused, project environments.
  • Understanding of spatial data formats and spatial reference systems.
  • The candidates should ideally have experience with managing GIS data on large scale master planning projects.
  • Some level of programming for A/cad would also be advantageous in order to extract metadata from masterplan CAD files to excel.
  • Experience with Autodesk civils would be a great advantage.  Revit is less of a requirements as this tool it is still mostly buildings focused.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Proven experience of delivering to deadlines within pressurised environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience of working with and controlling a large number of evolving datasets.
  • Experience using ArcGIS Server.
  • Experience using AutoCAD software (including Civil 3D and Map).
  • Hands on experience of using CAD derived data within a GIS environment.
