Role Outline:
Reporting to the Global Human Resources Manager the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining a Total Rewards Framework for a global organisation, incorporating best industry practices. Managing the compensation and benefits for the organisation, developing and implementing, policies and procedures and competitive practices related to compensation and benefits. Reviewing and streamlining benefits practices, incentive schemes and implementation of compensation programs. This position is also responsible for ensuring through audits, legal reports and personal interactions that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with firm policies and government regulations.

Main accountabilities:

  • Ensure competitiveness of Total Reward programs including comprehensive compensation, benefits, incentives benchmarking.
  • Support the global SNC-Lavalin compensation team in delivering the annual salary review process for Linxon employees worldwide by managing all operational requirements for the compensation year-end process, and driving the annual incentive (short and long term) process, including calculations, approvals and communication of all incentives granted or paid out at year-end
  • Oversee the effective management of benefits: new joiner enrolment, leavers, changes, provider and payroll interfacing, benefit claims, benefit queries etc…
  • Management of annual benefits processes: renewals, annual enrolments, pension governance as needed, pension actuarial assessments, statutory filings, tax year end reporting etc…
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and Business leaders to understand their issues related to compensation and benefits.
  • Provide education and counsel to HRBPs, Hub and Line Managers, and Talent Acquisition regarding compensation issues, especially related to the Job evaluation system and incentive programs’ structure and objectives as well as high-level provisions of benefits programs offered to Linxon employees.
  • Drive adoption, communication, and change management of any compensation or benefits-related systems changes and/or new system launches.
  • Ensure that the organisation is in compliance with all compensation and benefits laws and regulations in the countries it operates.
  • Support the year end accounting processes with regards to compensation or benefits matters within Linxon and SNC-Lavalin
  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships at multiple levels within Linxon and SNC-Lavalin
  • Liaise with SNC-Lavalin Global Mobility team to deliver effective management of global assignments across the Group in a responsive, proactive and efficient manner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a business-related field or suitable equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of Human Resources practices, related labour laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of compensation data analysis, modelling, and reporting
  • Knowledge of benefits and benefits laws
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel based functions
  • Ability to work with files containing large amounts of data
  • Established organizational skills, flexibility and a proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity over all sensitive information
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high attention to detail
  • Some travel required, flexible (possibly home based) location.
