Located in Vasteras Sweden, and reporting to Linxon Head of Sales, with a dotted line to Linxon CFO, the Manager Export and Trade Finance support is responsible for structuring financing solutions and sales opportunities for Linxon units worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) and other key financing partners
  • Establish new financing arrangements with new and existing partners and open new markets
  • Work with Linxon front end teams on the pre-screening of Projects and evaluation of sales opportunities
  • Participation in relevant sales and tendering meetings
  • Developing financing solutions and updating financial tools and techniques
  • Support in analysing and quantifying political and commercial risks for a Project
  • Lead in calculating the risk exposure for preparing and finalizing insurance cover
  • Lead in developing and negotiating insurance wordings
  • Arranging risk cover for political and commercial risks
  • Lead in structuring the appropriate terms of method of payment for a Project
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a financial model for a Project
  • Assist in preparing preliminary information memorandum
  • Assist in identifying potential lenders and equity participants, presenting the financial structure of a Project to them, and co-coordinating with them as necessary
  • Advise generally on structuring, negotiating, and closing the debt financing and risk cover for a Project
  • Assist with respect to conditions precedent upon which disbursement under any financing arrangement may depend and possible amendments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in business administration or commerce is an asset
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in dealing with project financing and ECA relationships
  • Established relationship with ECAs
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction (E&C) and or EPC business
  • Good, analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills as well as ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and work under pressure
  • Team player
  • Autonomy, rigor, ethics, flexibility, adaptability, persuasiveness
  • Proficiency in Office Suite
  • Fluency in English is a must
