Job Summary:

We are hiring for the Senior HSE Advisor for Oman. HSR Advisor is responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environment (HSE) initiatives within real estate and infrastructure projects in the Middle East region. With a minimum of 12 years of HSE experience and expertise in the field, this role involves ensuring compliance with HSE standards, identifying, and addressing issues, and providing comprehensive reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance: Make sure our projects meet HSE standards and regulations.

Risk Management: Identify and reduce HSE risks in our projects.

Incident Handling: Investigate accidents, find out why they happened, and prevent them from happening again.

Policy Development: Create and enforce HSE policies for our projects.

Training: Train project teams and contractors on HSE practices.

Monitoring and Reporting: Keep an eye on HSE performance and report to project leaders.

Engagement: Work closely with clients, contractors, and regulators to ensure everyone's on board with HSE requirements.

Emergency Preparedness: Develop plans to handle emergencies and keep our projects safe.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.

NEBOSH qualification in HSE management.

Minimum of 12 years of progressive HSE experience in the real estate sector, with at least 8 years of experience in the Middle East region in a similar role.

In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to real estate and infrastructure projects.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify HSE issues, assess risks, and develop practical solutions.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and collaborate with diverse teams.

Proficiency in HSE management systems and software tools.

Certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent preferred.
