SNC-Lavalin Atkins business seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Engineering Team in Miami, FL as a HVAC Designer.


MAJOR FUNCTION/ROLE

Will work with project architects and mechanical engineers to create CADD files & construction documents for HVAC projects, while performing basic engineering tasks with increasing responsibility.

JOB DUTIES

• Performs computer-aided drafting and design work of considerable complexity. Incumbents at this level are able to work from verbal or written specifications.
• Perform basic engineering tasks with increasing responsibility.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with interest in a career building electrical systems or Associate's degree plus a minimum of eight years' progressive drafting and design experience, including at least two as a Designer, or HS diploma (or equivalent) plus a minimum of ten years progressive drafting and design experience. 
• Must have five or more years of HVAC design and drafting experience.
• Interest in a career in Building HVAC, plumbing, & fire protection systems.
