IT Security Administrator

This role is an exciting opportunity supporting our delivery of secure privileged access and addressing the threat associated with high level user and service accounts.

This is most suited to an individual who has experience with the delivery of information security services within a large corporate environment, however this role may also be suited to someone wishing to move from a general IT career to a career in Cybersecurity.

The initial duties of the role will be to administer, support, troubleshoot and extend our privileged access management service and a small-scale data leakage prevention solution. This role also provides the opportunity to extend into other areas of cyber security such as vulnerability assessment and malware detection and response.

Qualifications

• CompTIA Security A+ or equivalent

Essential Criteria
The candidate should have demonstrable experience in a large IT team and the following experience
• Working with other teams in a global organisation
• Managing Active Directory Users and Computers
• LDAP
• Unix/Linux administration
• At least one Privileged Access Management tools (Bomgar PAM, CyberArk or similar).
• Data Leakage Prevention technologies (Mc Café)
• Proactive maintenance and responding to user incidents
The candidate should also be able to demonstrate the following
• Knowledge of Internet Security and cloud services
• Principles of network security
• Good standard of written English and reporting skills

Desirable Criteria

Experience and knowledge of the following:
• Email security and email hygiene solutions
• Bomgar Privileged Access Management
• Lieberman RED Identity Management
• ServiceNow
• Experience of working with McAfee ePO
• Nexpose and Metasploit
• Checkpoint firewalls
• Cisco networks
• ITIL Fundamentals
• Common utilities for detecting, evaluating and responding to malware

Responsibilities

• Adding and removing computers within appropriate groups in the PAM service
• Creation of shadow accounts on target servers
• Configuring session policies
• Assisting other administrators in their use of the system
• Monitoring and investigating issues with DLP
• Configuring DLP policies in response to detections and false positives
• Adding and removing users to groups mapped to target servers
• Developing and optimizing processes required to deliver the PAM & DLP solutions
• Maintaining documentation following approved changes
• Working with vendors support teams to resolve issues
