Responsibilities
Faithful+Gould, Inc. has an opening for a Lead Cost Manager working in New York, NY. Responsible for managing costs for large construction projects and ensuring that established procedures for baseline cost control budgets are implemented by team. Monitors project progress, tracks actual expenditures, and reports monthly cost forecasts/reports. Analyzes status data and trends, presenting monthly reviews to senior management. Has overall responsibility for project cost control, project cost management, and project controls staff. Provides forecasts, consolidates and analyzes profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and utilization across practice. Oversees the negotiation of contract pricing and business development, as necessary. Requires travel approximately 60%-70% of the time to known and unknown client sites within regular commuting distance of NYC.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent foreign degree in Construction Management or Construction Science, plus five (5) years of experience performing contract and project management services, including cost controls, procurement, and analysis of materials, costs, contracts, risks and data, for projects within the commercial or industrial construction management industry with budgets in excess of US $5 million, at least six months of which involved providing full procurement and cost estimating services to commercial managers working on real estate projects.
