Atkins are part of a joint venture, including Balfour Beatty and Egis Road Operation UK – creating Connect Plus Service, managing and improving one of the busiest motorways in Europe, the M25, its key arterial link roads serving central London and surrounding area, and the A282 (Dartford Crossing).

Connect Plus Services are currently looking for a part time L&D Advisor on a 12 month FTC, to join the dynamic Training & HR team out of the Leatherhead office.

The L&D Advisor will support the delivery of the learning and development strategy across CPS. They shall advise managers and teams on appropriate learning & development outcomes for their business areas. They will take responsibility for ensuring all employees have the necessary knowledge, skills and qualifications to carry out their roles, acting as a liason between partners, suppliers, employees and the L&D team.

Responsibilities -

Maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders around the business, across all depots
Provide advice and guidance to the business about L&D strategy and solutions
Analysis of performance and development data in order to determine L&D needs
Support the L&D team with the production of the annual training plan and budget
To manage and close-out L&D projects, in scope, on time and on budget
Work with variety of stakeholders in order to manage change and communicate with staff
Evaluate success of L&D solutions and make recommendations for improvements
Support and deputise for the L&D Manager, as required
Support and provide guidance to the L&D coordinators in their roles

Skills and Experience –

Intermediate CIPD or appropriate L&D qualification, or equivalent experience
Project management qualification, or equivalent experience
Effective analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to advise on L&D solutions
Effective active listening skills and the ability to challenge
Experience designing and delivering training events
Experience working in a learning / organisational development function

This is a part time position working 20 hours a week on a 12 month FTC.
