Marketing & Sales Coordinator (Utility Solutions)

Working in SNC-Lavalins’s Atkins business you will be based within our Utility Solutions Practice in Bristol. Utility Solutions provides a range of digital products and consultancy services to a growing client base. 

As part of a growing business, we require a Marketing and Sales Coordinator to develop new business leads and increase exposure of our business to our target markets. The successful candidate will support the Practice Manager and other teams with the delivery and implementation of the marketing strategy. 

Requirements 

Essential Criteria 
o A creative, forward-thinking individual with a flair for presenting complex information in a simple manner. 
o Familiar with the use of social media in a corporate context. 
o Enthusiastic, able to adopt a flexible approach to varying workload and conflicting demands. 
o Excellent telephone manner and a positive attitude. 
o Ability to engage effectively face-to-face with a wide range of stakeholders. 
o Conscientious, attentive to detail, customer focused, able to prioritise workload. 
o Computer literate, competent user of MS Office applications, particularly Outlook. 
o Ability to manage time effectively. 

Desirable Criteria 
o Relevant qualificiation and experience in sales, marketing or business development. 
o Experience in a similar role, coordinating marketing activities for a corporate organisation. 
o Proven and demonstrable experience with digital marketing campaigns through e-shot and online exposure. 
o Strong literacy skills, with an ability to effectively proof-read business documents. 

Qualifications 
oEducated to minimum GCSE “O” level standard or similar

Responsibilities 


o Increase marketing activities through digital campaigns, events coordination and product launches. 
o Assist in planning, coordinating and attending key consumer exhibitions 
o To generate leads through outbound marketing campaigns. 
o Coordinate the conception and implementation of campaigns whilst coordinating the inputs of various teams. 
o Report on results of direct marketing campaigns using appropriate analysis tools, making recommendations for forthcoming campaigns. 
o Make outbound speculative sales calls to generate leads for the Sales team to follow. 
o Ensure adherence to the wider corporate strategy through liaison with centralised marketing team. 
o To engage with technical and software teams to run campaigns through company website 
o To engage with the project manager to assist with effective marketing of new product launches 
o To work alongside existing sales team to support business development and sales activities 
o Create, execute and maintain marketing strategy

Training 


SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins business develops individuals through a portfolio of training and development activities designed to help you make the best of your abilities and talents. These are reviewed with individuals through an annual appraisal process. We actively support staff in achieving corporate membership of relevant institutions. 

On the job training will be delivered and a buddy/mentor assigned to ensure that the successful candidate is comfortable with the domain in which they would be working. 

Additional Information 
o Full time role- 37.5 hours 
o Grade range 7-9 
o Travel and out of office hours working likely when working toward deadlines or attending events 
o Flexibility to assist other teams 
o BS clearance may be required 

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary it will be discussed with you at interview.
