We are recruiting a Marketing Communications Officer to help our divisions promote their products, services and propositions as they look to differentiate themselves and grow across increasingly complex markets.
Reporting to the Divisional Head of Marketing Communications or Marketing Communications Manager, depending on the structure of the division, you will work closely with Divisional Marketing Communications Managers to support multi-channel external marketing activity aimed towards key clients and prospect opportunities.
You will be providing support to Marketing and Internal Communications as required.
Responsibilities
•Support the tactical delivery of marketing campaigns, with focus on digital marketing activity
•Act as the social / digital media champion for the Marketing Communications team
•Contribute to divisional social media activity and activate key content across social media platforms
•Manage content for divisional enhanced email signature
•Support the production of marketing collateral for on-and offline platforms
•Maintain an up-to-date client database to support online/offline marketing activity
•Provide internal communications support as required
•Work with the broader Marketing Communications and Communications teams to develop and submit entries for relevant industry awards.
Requirements
Qualifications
•Degree educated or equivalent in a relevant discipline would be preferred, but not essential
•Professional qualification from a relevant discipline would be preferred, but not essential.
Essential Criteria
•Proven experience working in a Marketing Communications environment
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex topics in simple language to multiple audiences
•Self-motivated and able to take ownership of projects
•High levels of initiative and confidence to come up with, share and deliver ideas
•Highly organised and able to work simultaneously on multiple projects
•Able to build relationships inside and outside of the organisation
•Ability to work with senior management
•Able to cope with ambiguity
•A deep understanding of the core social media channels and experience of activating these channels as part of a broader communications campaign
•Act as the social/digital media champion for the Marketing Communications team.
Desirable Criteria
•Previous experience in digital marketing
•Experience of working on campaigns which span all Marketing Communications disciplines
•Knowledge of the environments/markets that the organisation operates in
