Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our team as a Network Systems Administrator embedded in our client office in Tallahassee.

Major Function/Role:

Provide network/server administration including design, maintenance, and implementation.

Monitor operations to ensure optimal efficiency.

May administer remedy systems.

Ensures that IT global initiatives and standards are achieved within scope of responsibility.

Complex, varied, non-standardized tasks, processes, or operations.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of Local Area Networks and the TCP/IP protocol.

Handle computer and IT issues for client and consultant staff.

Provide the office with specific network needs.

Candidate will be required to pass FDLE SLERS background check to work at FDOT Rhyne Building in Tallahassee.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems or similar degree. Minimum two years network/system administration and PC support experience.

Special Skills:

High proficiency in Microsoft products, networking, remedy databases and Windows server.

Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.

Job requires skill in identifying problems and solving them.
