Atkins is currently seeking a highly motivated self-starter to join our Richland Energy Team as Office Manager.



Job Requirements:



The Office Manager supervises all other administrative staff at facility, ensuring work is delegated evenly to maximize efficiency.

Supports the facility in all office management and administrative duties.

Coordinates and supervises the activities of the administrative and support staff of an office.

 
May assist in supervisory functions such as performance appraisals, coordinating vacations, approving time sheets and monitoring time worked.

Acts as the first point of contact for internal facilities issues.


Orders office supplies for copy rooms, monitors supplies and office equipment inventory.

 

Calls for maintenance on equipment as needed.

 

Assesses needs of facility and makes recommendations in terms of office equipment, computers and supplies.


Manages arrangements for lease negotiation agreements, construction and maintenance/housekeeping.


Acts as a liaison with human resources department for office, assisting with benefit plans, new employees and termination process.


Assists with scheduling for shifts and meetings, including transportation requirements.


Assists receptionist answering phones and greeting visitors as needed.


Reviews vendor and contractor invoices for accuracy and correct job coding.


Performs other duties as assigned.



Required and Desired Skills:

Advanced office computer skills, including Microsoft Office .


Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 
Basic knowledge of recordkeeping and accounting.

 
Strong interpersonal communication skills and telephone skills.

 
Ability to organize and supervise the activities of others.



Education/Experience:


High School diploma or GED.

 
Minimum of 10 years administrative/clerical experience.


5 years of supervisory experience.

 

Certifications:


None required
